I concur. These have been much more influential.
Consider especially the conclusive evidence against the
Pearl of Great Price.

I don't agree! How hard is it to look at some rocks
in a sock and compose a novel out loud in pseudo-King
James language? That hardly takes Homer or Milton.

Hard to say. Perhaps to start with, but they might
have come to believe it themselves. Not everyone
thinks like we do, remember? This sort of thing makes
me wonder about other sacred scriptures.
The Donation of Constantine was quite influential for
a long time.
