Voynitrivia: Levitov said that this figure is a man
[sic] dying because he took poison, with a bloated
belly due to that. One of the Voynich words (can't
think of which) means ISIS. He thought the objects by
the man were poisoned food, for euthanasia. He said
the figure was a man; Michael Roe said it's a pregnant
woman. ;-)
Levitov's biggest mistake. He said the Cathar
Melhioramentum was ritual euthanasia, administered by
one's relatives, by drinking cucumber juice mixed with
ground glass. (Doesn't sound like a painless way to
die!) In reality, the Cathar Melhioramentum was the
ritual salutation given by plain believers, Credentes,
to full Cathars, Perfecti, upon meeting!
Any ideas about what the objects by the reclining
figure might be?
Dennis
