Cute.  Is there a discontinuity in the 2-letter sequence
between plaintext 'l' and plaintext 'm', or am I still
missing a piece?

For those who are still in the dark, I had the right idea.
I finished it from the pattern between these two words:
en-cod-mo-cud mo-cud-uk

Both are common words.
