RE: VMs: Repeating strings - Am I going crazy ?



I think this technique was at the heart of finding key lengths etc, first
applied by the Friedmans? My recall on this is rather hazy.

Exactly. And my implementation is a rather crude version of this function.

Definitely. I'm glad that it fits with the existing facts. Now I'll have to
look at the other triangle.
