I guess if we're being precise here, the "generally accepted" dating extends
from 1450 -1550, but no later than 1550.  There are as many arguments
(albeit older arguments, D'Imperio, O'Neill, GC, etal.) for the higher end
as there are for the lower end of this spectrum.  It's a pretty big ball
park, but it's about as "precise" as we seem to be able to get. :-)
