Wonderful point Rene!  I've already taken to viewing the VMS with bifolio
pages side-by-side, since we have so much information that this is the way
it was written, with the bifolios laying flat, one side filled out at a
time.  It's been awhile since I visited your site, (sorry about that), but
didn't you do some analysis that also supported this "bifolio" composition?
