	Oops... Does this mean that all those characters down the right
side of the page weren't there when he bought the manuscript?

What is interesting here is that a photostatic reproduction was done
*before* the application of chemicals to the margins - so, there is a fair
chance that a careful search through the many images of f1r held by the
Beinecke may turn up at least one that was taken before any physical
monkeying was done with the VMs. Something to think about next time you're
in New Haven! :-)
