Re: VMs: Photostat Machines
Hi
The VM material held in the BM has some photographic copies - not very
good - and the name of the company is embossed on some of the prints as
I recall (I am currently in Lyon at a Semiotics meeting and cannot check
my notes - I expect Nick P can add detail). This material appears to
have been V's (there is other stuff on Newbold).
What troubles me about V's use of chemicals is that it is surely
unethical/unprofessional to treat a MS that way - unless the chemicals
were known to be very benign and 'self-cancelling' in effect with time.
