I could not get the real date either :-) . By the same author is  also  the article (1996) at:

He claims there that  Marci became famous for his works on light refraction and collision of elastic 
bodies for which he was nominated the member of Royl Society in London.  He also studied the 
quadrature of a circle and devoted to it two of his  works: "De proportione motus figurarum 
rectilinearum et circuli quadratura ex motu" (published in Prague, 1648) and "Labyrinthus, in quo via ad 
circuli quadraturam pluribus modis exhibetur" (Prague, 1654). 

The above page also contains some literature references.   There is another book by the same author quoted, namely:   " Jan Marek Marci : první ceský fyzik / Ivan ?toll / Praha : Prometheus [Praha], 1996"
but the title of the book you mentioned ( "Jan Marek Marci z Kronlandu") suggests  it is a different 
book, yours being more recent.
