VMs: VMS provenance
I now have enough circumstantial evidence to say one of two things.
1. Gordon Rugg is right in EVERY respect or
2. The VMS is an important historical document.
This may seem very strange to list members but it really could go either
way. I need to do more research. This is the difficult part. I need to
contact various individuals not connected with the list to gather more
information. It may be that my research carries me in the direction of
Gordon Rugg, but so be it. If it does not then the list will have more
background on the VMS than it knows what to do with. If I am right in my
hunch then the VMS is an important historical document. This will not solve
the cipher but it will give more impetus for research. No one will be able
to dismiss it any longer. Wish me luck because I think I'm about to blow it
wide open.
