Oops, correction: in the Arabic prefix "wa-" ("and"), the "a" is
weak, not strong. So the guess about "ol-" and "wa-" would require
that EVA "o" was used for either weak or strong "a". Reasonable
for a Westerner, perhaps so for a Persian or Turkish speaker,
but rather unlikely for an Arabic speaker...
The corresponding prefixes in Hebrew would be (please correct me)
"ha-" and "wa-" (both with weak "a"). In Geez, the conjuntion seems to
be "we-", and I do not know whether there is a definite article.
