Scientific American? So they've done it again. I stopped
subscribing long ago (15 years?) when I realized that
over the years, starting in 1958, they had published
nothing but stuff and nonsense in my field (linguistics).
The leopard does not change its spots, though it might
change its editorial board, eh?

I am about to receive Gerry Kennedy and Rob Churchill's
book on the Voynich, to review for the Times Higher
Education Supplement (I am even allowed 1650 words,
which is a lot). So I'll have to get a copy of Sci. Am.
too. The VMs brings out the loonie tunes out of even the
most staid. Just think of Newbold!
