Re: VMs: Anyone have some Hmong text?

I think I read somewhere that Hmong is one of the languages used for primary school instruction in California - perhaps there are educational materials in the language available there.

Another possibility might be military publications from the Vietnam War era - perhaps you could find something with a Freedom of Information Act request.

I'd like to get a text in Hmong at least 100 kilobytes long (measured as plain text) to run statistics on and compare to the VMS. I picked Hmong because it's written in the Latin alphabet (there's also Pahawh, but that wouldn't give the same statistics) and certain letters occur only in certain parts of words. Most of the Hmong pages I've found are articles or government documents, and have a bunch of non-Hmong phrases in them, which might be hard to pick out (e.g. "zoo" is a word in both Hmong and English). Do you know where I can get such a text?
