Hello Nick.

I'd already found that particular image about a year ago when I first went
online... back before I'd ever heard of a VMS mailing list. It currently
exists as a 3 foot by 3 foot framed print hanging in my library courtesy
of the local COPYMAX shop.
My hope was that at some point, someone had examined the manuscript
closely and had made images, drawings or at least a transcription of the
obscured text... and that someone on the list had access to it.
Another point of focus are the ends where the drawings extend in toward
the central Rosette. Most of them are at least partially obscured as well
and the ones visible all appear to be different.
If anyone on the list can share these...

Remember, with their tops removed, chess pieces all look the same too.

Thanks.

Erni
