Re: VMs: A Possible Interpretation of the Four Figures, one with an Egg

Hi, Elmar

Yes, we must certainly remain open to all
possibilities; I agree entirely. So how does your
Monkees theory tie in with the significance of the
other parts of the VMs, and what may we deduce from
this interpretation? Can you suggest the language of
the Voynich, or perhaps elaborate on the meaning of
symbolism based on your theory? Do you believe the
author's intention was strictly entertainment-related?

If so, can you suggest the necessity for encryption?

I'm fascinated. Smile.

Warmly,

Pam

Well, it's pretty obvious that the VM actually contains screenplays for the Monkees TV series, including several storyboard images for hitherto unaired episodes, namely "The Monkees in the jungle", "The Monkees go to the moon", "The Monkees and lots of naked chicks in trashcans", and "The Monkees inherit a pharmacy." (Of course, these are all only working titles.)

The text was encrypted to avoid copyright hassles. (It is my personal theory that these episodes were never shot because the Monkees wouldn't manage to read the encrypted screenplays.)

Oh yes, and the screenplays were written by Shakespeare, of course, making the VM the only existant originals of his.

It's a little known fact that Micky Dolenz (http://german.imdb.com/name/nm0004880/) was actually brought up in a Jesuit college, where he probably was brought into contact with the VM.
