No problem!

We were looking for a common ground to speak about
astrology.  As long as we have some agreement about
which historic sources we can use or not, then we can
begin to have a dialogue about actual astrology.

It is an interesting challenge for me to produce my
own impressions built on the study of astrology's
source documents.  Yet in my own study, I prefer to
draw my own conclusions based on this sort of evidence
and not to rely exclusively on the opinions of others,
and I am interested in engaging in a discussion with
anyone who is similarly inclined.  

To be brief, anyone is entitled to their own opinion. 
For myself, I am more receptive to opinion informed by
source documents rather than modern interpreters of
history, of course!  Smile.
