Are you reading this thread at all?

It started out with a quote from Ptolemy's Alamgest where he claimed the well-known spherical nature of Earth.

Furthermore, it'd help this thread if people acknowledged the difference between longitude and latitude. Wikipedia is a good starting point for this.
