VMs: Re: Rohonczi Codex (smudging)

Okay, this is a Voynich manuscript list - and the only thing that
relates the Codex rohonczi to the Voynich MS is the undeciphered text,
written in a weird "alphabet". (And perhaps some of the strange drawings
as the "cosmic model" on page 83.) But for me the CR looks _very_
interesting.

It sounds reasonable. The drawing is obviously inspired by Christian
Religion and shows the Cruzification of Jesus Christ. Look at the angles
getting the blood of Christ as a (or better: the) sacrifice for the sins
of mankind. (But the islamic half-moons in the border looks strange in
this context) So we should expect the text from Matthew 27:37, commonly
abbrieviated (by the Roman Catholic Church) as "INRI", which gives us
some "letters".

Have we a "stone of rosette" for the "Rohonczeese" on Page 26?

The letters from the drawing looks like a mirrored "HCPF" or "HC&Eth;F".
("&Eth;" is an icelandic capital eth in HTML entity notation). The first
and the last glyph are clearly different, so it can not be a direct
"INRI" transcription to an unknown "alphabet".

What does the Slavic Orthodox Church write instead of "INRI"? Does it
fit better? Or is there no easy character to glyph mapping?

BTW: There is a weird cruxification drawing on page 51, with an unusual
shaped cross. Does it conform to an iconic tradition? The same (but
empty) cross is visible on page 52. Another cross shape on the
"cruzification on the hill miniature" on page 148 - but in the "three
crosses miniature", page 153a, the "standard-shaped cross" cames back.
