	I always thought the Burmese script is interesting,
because it was meant to be written on palm leaves with a
*stylus*.  Therefore it's made up mostly of *circular*
strokes so it won't split the leaves.   Runic scripts on the
other hand are made up of straight strokes to be written on
wood with a stylus or knife.

	No obvious VMs relevance here.  We have another
Sino-Tibetan language, presumably in a phonemic or syllabic
script, presumably monosyllabic and Voynichese-like, that
should be fairly easy to study.  The Voynich script is made
up of i-strokes and c-strokes, while Burmese might contain
CW and CCW circular strokes, spiral strokes, a few
gallows-like straight strokes.
