Hi everyone,

Ummm... almost to death by Jean-Yves & me - Google the (recent) archives for Sessa. :-)

Basically, WMV sold a load of revolutionary books for a while, hooked up with C.A.Edgell M.A., jointly put out a catalogue (with the "Sessa" telegraphic address, though it didn't seem to appear in the telegraphic dictionaries I consulted), split up, carried on putting out catalogues on his own, later appropriating an early version of the Sessa motif (but with his own initials added).

AFAIK, what Edgell brought in is presently unknown - perhaps money, perhaps contacts, perhaps mss, perhaps knowledge, or indeed perhaps all of them. Perhaps we'll find out one day...

dissimilium infida societas - forgive my schoolboy Latin, but should this translate to something like "you are looking at [behold?] something different, o faithless person"?

While I could make that sound much more streetwise... perhaps I'd better not. :-o

Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....
