Perhaps someone else (whose message I missed) has already mentioned this,
but the Goldstones' book, "The Friar and the Cipher: Roger Bacon and the
Unsolved Mystery of the Most Unusual Manuscript in the World," is finally
out (the official publication date is today, in fact). I just received my
copy from Amazon, as a result of an advance order, but obviously have not
yet had time to read it. For those interested, Amazon is selling the book
for $17.16, instead of the list price of $26.00
