I remember this author was already discussed in this list:
A bit more in French about Jaques Bergier, who was a non conformist thinker and writer,
and also non conformist scientist:
Jean

Jacques Bergier, eh? How familiar! With Louis Pauwels, with their
"Matin des magiciens" they started the upmarket monthly "Planète"
the equivalent of today's downmarket "Dawn" or... what is that
other one again? I have its title on the tip of my tongue.
The "VIe" in "Paris VIe" is the "arrondissement". Paris is divided
into 20 arrondissements, numbered in a spiral, starting from its
centre, l'Ile de la Cité, opposite Notre-Dame. Rue de Tournon is
in the 6th arrondissement.
"J'ai lu" is a mass paperback publisher, like "Le livre de
poche"
and many more. I'll sure try to secure a copy when I am in Paris
(April-May).
