When, many years ago, I transcribed the MS, I noted
that there are several places where 'something
funny' is going on.
Yes, there are places with cramped writing.
Overall, the Herbal-B pages are more cramped than
others.
There are also places where it seemed as if the
first letter of every line was written first, and
then the page filled in. (I think it was in the Bio
section).
There are also places where the text would not
appear to have been written top left to bottom right
in the usual manner (e.g. lines filled in later).
I also remember getting suspicious that in some
cases line 'N' had a conventient gap such that
line 'N+1' could intrude it with a gallows.
This last one did not occur so often that it was
definitely more than 'chance'.
All in all, this may be more bunnies in clouds,
and I apologise for the very vague information.
It was, as I wrote, probably six years ago.
Cheers, Rene
