Re: VMs: WMV's Parents

Hello Rafal,

I have an official (embossed with seal) copy of WMV's "Certificate of Death" (ordered from http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/vr/vrdappl.shtml). The entries on the form are all hand written. The first letter 'F', the middle 'q', and the last letter 'z' in script of his father's middle name are questionable. There is no city listed under place of birth.

Regards,
Dana Scott

Hi Dana,

The father's name is as specified, with last name Voynich; however, as you are aware, his last name may actually have been Wojnicz or Habdank-Wojnicz. WMV's place of birth (State or Country) is listed as Poland.

Thanks for the info. Concerning the name, Voynich=Wojnicz phonetically, so this is not a problem. But the middle (or whatever it is) which you posted as:

Antony Fulgantiz (sp? g looks like q)

is problematic as it does not resemble any name known to me.
Have you actually seen the original record? Or is it
a copy retyped by someone?

I understand there is no town name for the place of birth - just
State or Country?

Best regards,

Rafal
