A thank you to user nablator, of the Ninja forums, who found a copy of the Marci Recto side in 600 dpi. The website at Yale/Beincke seems to no longer have these "original size" tifs of the recto and verson of the 1665/66 Marci Letter. 

They do have smaller sizes, though, which are still excellent copies for viewing and download:

UPDATE 5/14/2026: The original recto image of this letter had been trimmed to make its file size smaller. This removed the ruler and color comparison gauge. So I pasted the letter back into the verson copy I had in my files, with the ruler and color gauge, in case these are useful to others. I named this file "1170955-600ppi_reconstructed.tif". I did leave the trimmed version in this folder, though, and that one is named 1170955-600ppi.tif.
