Mr. Edwards: Can you give us some idea of the theme or direction of your book? Do you propose a translation, or other analysis of the Voynich?

Dear Rich, thank you for your interest. The subject is the Voynich manuscript. The purpose of the book is to investigate, primarily from a perspective of a mathematician, whether the text of the manuscript has an underlying meaning, or none; whether there is an underlying natural language or languages, and if so what are the most probable languages; and what analytical tools could be applied to identifying the meaning of the text (if any).

Dear Rich, the delivery date for the text, images and supporting materials is December 31, 2021. My best guess is that the book would be included in Schiffer's Fall 2023 catalog and would be available for pre-order around mid-2023. With best regards, Bob

I submitted "Voynich Reconsidered" to Schiffer on 12.31.2021. It will probably be in the Fall 2023 catalog.

Schiffer Publishing advise that "Voynich Reconsidered" will be in their catalog for Fall 2023. I may receive a cover design and catalog entry sometime in the summer of 2023; if the publisher permits, I will share these.

Update on Voynich Reconsidered; the manuscript is now at the galley stage. I will review the galleys within one month. After that, it goes to the layout stage.

I have read the proceedings of Voynich Conference 2022 https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3313/. I have written an additional chapter of Voynich Reconsidered which will present my thoughts on some of the papers presented at the conference, and on avenues for further research.
