VMs: Franciscus Barozzi (Barocius)

I found Franciscus Barozzi (Barocius) to be an interesting scholar from
the past. His last name interested me. I know it is a long shot, but
because of the similarities of their last names, I wondered if the
mysterious M. Georg Baresch might have been related to him? Probably
not. Has he been mentioned before in the VMS discussion forum?
