Hi everyone,
I rewatched "The Imitation Game" and how the found repeating patterns. I looked up different puzzles like The Voynich Manuscript. There are repeated words and noticed it visually looks like a recipe or instructions. I used AI to run frequency analysis against Latin, test substitutions, and check context. By feeding my conceptual idea into AI, the patterns revealed recipe-style instructions, suggesting the Voynich Manuscript is a ciphered herbal-astrological manual rather than random gibberish.
Comparing glyph frequency to medieval Latin confirmed vowels and prefixes matched, and placing these guesses into herbal recipes turned gibberish into clear step-by-step instructions. This gave me a Plain English Render that reflects the text’s purpose: a medieval herbal-astrological manual written in ciphered shorthand.
For f2r herbal section translation:
“Boiled water preparation, repeated; an infusion stage follows.
Prepare a root-water extract, again boil, use the whole plant, and collect the celestial essence under the sign; this herb is prepared thus.”

Re: f2r herbal section translation
Great observation! The section you’re asking about is from f2r’s lower block. I’ve been working on this myself and actually went through the whole manuscript with a similar recipe-style approach. I’ve posted my full translation in the Translations thread, if you’re interested, you might enjoy comparing your findings with it.”
