	I can't resist either - here's a (possibly apocryphal) story I
heard about an unnamed local politician from the UK who was visiting
a French town his own was twinned with. According to the story*, he 
thought that saying that he would like to kiss all the women of the
town - unfortunately, the word in question** had aquired other
connotations since he learned it in school and the town in question
was rather startled to hear his rather public proposal to sleep
with all the women in the town!

*Jim Gillogly remarked that this mistake could well have been
deliberate!
