The VMS and the coming of the millennium...

I am still busy with grades and such, but this one seems too relevant
to let it pass 8-).

Yesterday I visited the university's architectural office for some
official business. On the walls, as decoration, they had framed street
maps of seven world cities. One I don't remember, the others were Rio
de Janeiro, Paris, London, Washington, Florence, and... Cesky Krumlov.

PS. Cesky's scale was large enough to show the buildings in
perspective. The Jesuit College was right in the foreground,
overlooking the river (Vltava, IRC). In fact the whole old city is
surrounded by a hairpin-like loop of the river. It looks like a very
nice place to visit...
