No. She was right. Miguel Carrasquer Vidal just e-mailed me that
I stuffed up. "Pescado" would be "pescat" in Occitan. "Pescadou" is
related to "pescador" the stress being, I guess, on the final "ou".

On a definitely unrelated topic (the "Chinese hypothesis") there
