New Dee bio

In case this hasn't been mentioned here yet:

There is a new biography of John Dee out entitled "The Queen's Conjurer"
by Benjamin Woolley, published by Henry Holt and Co., ISBN 0-8050-6509-1.

This is easily the most readable and even-handed general biography of Dee
to date, and goes into many areas that should be of interest to students
of cryptography.

Thomas Ernst's and Jim Reeds' independent discoveries of the key to
Chapter 3 of Trithemius' "Steganographia" is given some space, as is
mention of the Voynich and the Book of Soyga.

Additionally, my digital reconstruction of Dee's Sigillum Dei Aemeth was
used on the cover (albeit without permission, notice or credit (;_;)...).

All in all, a very enjoyable work, and an excellent introduction to one of
the most fascinating figures of Renaissance England. Highly recommended.
