folio 67v?
There is a page in the copyflo, right after the 67
foldout, that appears to be part of the verso of
folio 67. On this page there are two diagrams,
one of the sun surrounded by 4 ternary and
quadranary influences displayed as ?winds? and the
second drawing with the sun in the middle,
surrounded by 17 radiating lines of text, and 12
labels, six on the top and six on the bottom. Of
the second diagram:
Something very familiar here, having to do with
the motion of the sun in its spire. If so, this
would mean that the captions (six above and six
below) would be the separation of the zodiac into
northern signs and southern signs. Two of the
sun's arms are serving as a pointer, as a starting
place? There is some very strong connection in my
mind between the spire of the sun and the number
17, (constellations?), which I will research as
quickly as possible, but this is my general sense
of the meaning of this diagram.
