That's just about my assumption, John. My first
inkling came when I was trying to figure out the
meaning of the table character with the different
ligatures over it. They seemed to be present in
four intentionally drawn forms, the regular curly,
the teardrop, the curly left aligned, and the
curly right aligned. Probable word alignments
kept placing the curly and the teardrop in the
same column, while the left aligned and right
aligned shifted two to the left and right
respectively. My interpretation is that there is
the basic table character, then a set of
instructions that read "left, right, up, and
down."

The question is, do these shift only the one
character all the time, or do they shift the
sequence or alphabet from that point forward?
There also appear to be relationships between a
couple of characters that are not related in form,
and pages that start with a G-form character tend
to work best in reverse, or at least start in
reverse from the G-form forward. I still don't
know if they reverse after every G-form.
