VMs: Selenus, Porta, Vigenere

I've posted as permanent fixtures Porta's De
Furtivus, Vigenere's Traicte des Chiffres, and at
present the first 5 books of Selenus in both Latin
and English. Porta (Latin) and Vigenere(French)
are in the password section. I've discovered an
English translation of Porta, but I've been remiss
in obtaining it, something I need to do this year.
The most monumental and important of the books for
the history and roots of cryptography is of course
Vigenere, and I have yet to find an English
translation of this book, so I muddle through with
the help of a language translation program. If
anyone is aware of an English translation of
Vigenere, please let me know.

There are currently 15 books in the password
section, and I think I'll keep the number around
this level for now. I'll start rotating the
herbal books in a couple of weeks, and even throw
in copies from time to time of things like Dee's
Propodaimata Aphoristika, Monas Heiroglyphica, and
True Relation as time and space permits. I also
have several minor tracts on cipher and shorthand
that I'll rotate in and out over the next year.

Access to this section can only be obtained by
sending me your personal request, along with your
chosen name and password for the section. Bacon
enthusiasts will find a new book each month on the
main page, and very soon I'll be reinstalling the
discussion board and seeking moderators for
various areas of interest. If you have a
cryptographically related topic and are in need of
a forum, I'll seriously consider your request, but
I won't be entertaining serious discussions of
Voynich material, since I believe they're
well-enough covered under this forum.
