VMs: Oops Re: VMS numbering systems hypotheses...

Addendum: REF to last e.post, for clearity of CENTER (hopefully) :-/?


Oops - where I showed the ~CENTER~ as ALL NULL, the Center "CENTER"
might be MORE easily understood if It contained the "8" character. as:

So with SAME 'vms Internal character pointers',:

(ES pointer char's maintained/ where x="8" (per TTT area of FOLD KEY)
"8" is CENTERed throughOUT and upsideDOWN'd or "Mirrored" as it were.


The ABOVE (English only) FOLDS upper left to lower right Mirror! Bring
corner "J" to "R" to SEE MIRROR, *BUT* to DECODE ~FOLD~ as per ES
pointer folding procedure!

It is NOT a Tic.Tac.Toe DEcoding :-( ~ IT !FOLDS! on ITSELF! ~ (sigh)
 
The "8" character = 9th position (Middle/CENTER) in the "individual"
folded KEY (NOT needed on the Masterkey - so, just tell someone on
Decoding it, "IT'S ALWAYS CENTER1 CENTER2 CENTER3 CENTER4 (else jump
MIRROR (then same thing REVERSED etc...)"

In the ABOVE (English only) "8" would point to either "N" or "5" or
"E" or "W" !! when it occurs in a (vms FOLDed) "Word" - just keep 
your 'pointer finger where it's at till next char. etc.. (else BACK UP
per FLIP if 'gallows' char. 'FLIP same MASTER KEY' to REVERSE) then
procede in decoding.

So, while a "Static Code", IT FLOATS per the whim of the scribe.. one
must keep a "pointer finger" on the MASTER KEY".. then IT's EASY ??


Hope that makes MORE sense now......:-)) ??

One would NEVER SEE ENGLISH (whatever) "Letters or NUMBERS!", and Each
has a 1/2 if not 1/2 again 'folded area' to HIDE (mirror) into.. the
above shows 1/4's if 8 is indeed the 'CENTER' character! so complex
and simple at the same time.

PS. this (above) is really tough in ASCII 
    HELP? - If one wanted to make a PAGE with vms characters the same
    heigth & width to fit into a sentence structure line, (Digital 
    Photo Cam NO GOOD) would you recommend "acrobat" or something
    easier? - FAX to GIF to jpg's doesn't do it either??  THX in
    advance! :-)

The "e" and the "o" are _Mirrored_ (but Different characters!)
per each key page (NOT MasterKey) but Key 3x3 (9 total) your on
