After reading this in total agreement, it dawned on me that there
is no rule in the Voynich that is followed 100 percent. The last
line of folio 1v contains a hooked gallows, and there are a few
more in the herbal section.
Of the 112 herbal pages I just quickly checked, 106 of 112 begin
with a gallows, or 95 percent. Some of these gallows are
combinations, and three of the six remaining begin with the
character the gallows occurs in combination with.
Also, on 57v, the repeating strings of characters have two forms
of the hooked gallows used interchangeably.

The BEGINNING (106/112? / i didn't count 'em?) HAVE TO BE THEN
"POINTERS" Hook gallows OR NOT/ALSO !!! (4+4 = 8 TOTAL!)
There ARE 4 STANDARD (UP) Gallows (period)! AND there are 4 C_C'd
(Flipped/DOWN) gallows!!! THAT gives
us the 8 required... HOW you Embellish or Script/DRAW THEM out is up
to you.... STILL THE SAME "4" ! (then c_c'd the _other_ 4 gallows!!
4 is a BASE HERE -- I've tried to say it for 2 years now! the TABLE
(TTT) or FOLDED is 3 3 9 (not "a base" BUT, "_THE BASE_" as in the
MASTER KEY PAGE "Missing in VMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
There is a ~simple FLOW~ to the 'embellished' gallow(s) characters
LOOPING that seems to ~Fly over the head of even the ~Brightest Minds~
here... It's NOT THAT HARD (you think too much?? :-) ... This is OLD,

With GC's 106/112 (my 99.997) Starting KEY the layout of the
"MASTERKEY" is within reach now !!! (note C_anything_C = don't count
in the "FOLDing" as you just are told to FLIP IT then (1st character
(new parapgraph?)(page?) still at TOP upper left! (whereever you were
- REVERSED (mirrored etc.)?) on the Master Key sheet.
Think 'TTT' (Tic.Tac.Toe Board)

BUT! - the ~TRICK to the FOLDing of the gallows~ is to FOLD'EM per ES!
