As a testing phase I did indeed use a Paint program to generate
300dpi bitmaps of some of your characters, and then loaded them
into the font program for tracing.  Tracing functions are not
perfect I've discovered, and generates very large font files with
way too many points, but good enough for a starting point.  What I
intend to do come this long weekend next week is generate bitmaps
of the best representations of Voynich characters from the
manuscript itself, now that most of my testing is complete.  I
have not distributed any of your font objects, and as you pointed
out, they may not be successfully saved on any system.

I do however thank you for the hard work and the availability of
your character structure as a quick starting point, which has
allowed me to get my testing phase off the ground on several
fronts, and I had no intention either in the beginning nor now of
using your glyph set.  It was handy to throw together something
for testing in a limited space of time, just to get something "on
paper" so I could put my thoughts in order.  In hindsight, I
should have used my old Voynich-GC font instead, but since I was
abandoning the format, the thought never crossed my mind.  I had
been focusing so much on trying to maintain some semblance of EVA
familiarity I never considered my own resources.  Sorry, and
having created a few fonts from scratch myself, I can appreciate
the effort that goes into it.

My other fonts are free-hand based, and I'm trying to create
something with the same EM ratio and stroke slant as the VMS
itself.  Logically this would have to be images of VMS characters.
And although the idea started out as a Modified EVA, the name will
have to change since I can't bring a glyph-based transcription
into line with EVA transcription, so the name MEVA would then be a
misrepresentation.  Ultimately I want to end up with a glyph set
that faithfully renders the best representations of the Voynich
script, even the wierdos.
