VMs: Astrological circles as volvelles...?

Hi everyone,

The question of where each independently rotating ring on the astrological 
diagrams begins may already be visible in a number of places: for example, 
on the Light Aries diagram, the small "pipework" squares on the outer two 
rings of text look (to me) as though each sequence would start there. In 
fact, they look like thumb-tabs to rotate the volvelle with. :-)

Other diagrams have single or double lines across the text, apparently 
marking the beginning of the text (and the ring?) - but some others 
apparently don't, and yet other diagrams aren't fully visible on the 
CopyFlo (clipped at the edges).

I'll try to catalogue these ring start markings, see if they fall into any 
particular pattern...
