I don't think it does just affect one word. Qokeedy is
quite similar, as I say on my site, and I have just run
my script on qokain.

Qokain has 95 occurrences in the stars section, and no fewer
than 24 of those are on a single page (111v), while six
pages have no occurrences of qokain at all.

As I said when we last discussed qokeey, I think your idea
of a name or noun with specific meaning like 'sea' is very
plausible.
