This will be appreciated by everybody, I am sure. The question
to ask is primarily about the evidence he has that the VMS was
smuggled from Russia (or Lvov, which I think is more probable
and may have been confusing as it is in the Ukraine now).

The question of who his mother was is only important
to give validity to his information (should there be any
doubt).
