So this should now be cleared - and Mondragone remains
the only source for the VMS (even though not beyond any doubt)?

Voynich arrived at Stepniak's house in October 1890 - and she was
there. But they both stated that they had seen each other
on Ester Sunday 1887 in Warsaw, when he was in the Citadel and
she was outside looking at it. Chronologically, there is was
other possibility of them to have met.
