The location chosen for his antiquarian business in Paris is exactly what I
would expect to find for Wilfrid M. Voynich. It is centrally located, next
to a park, near a world famous museum, within walking distance to a
national library, and well situated at one end of a world renowned
shopping district along the Rue Saint-Honore. While the St. James Hotel
faces the Jardin Des Tuileries at 202 Rue de Rivoli, his business
address appears to have been on the other side of the block at
211 Rue Saint-Honoré.

it appears that Voynich's business faced Rue Saint-Honore within the same
block)

I find it rather amusing that the establishment once used by an antiquarian
(WMV) who used to say to his employees of the fairer sex
that he did not think that there was any place in the antiquarian business
for a lady would now find his offices in Paris filled
with lingerie.
