VMs: Update

Gentleman,

I have just finished reading the mailing list for 1991.  I hardly realized 
that I was consorting with such giants of Academia!  I will certainly 
reserve my comments until I finish the entire mailing list, so as not to 
waste your time.

As for my own background, I have 12 years of school, I attended the USAF 
Cryptologic School in 1955, but worked as a traffic analyst rather than as 
a cryptanalyst.  That job ended abruptly with my marriage to a Russian.

What prompted my interest in Voynich?  I saw the film, "A Beautiful Mind" 
and looked for info on John Nash on the internet.  Somehow, in the course 
of that investigation, I saw a reproduction of a Voynich Page and I was 
hooked!  My fascination for Cryptanalysis came flooding back.

What struck me most, reading the mail from 1991, was how far we've come 
with computers in a scant 12 years.  It seems like only yesterday I was 
trying to construct logic circuits with relays with my buddy, Alan McCormack!
