VMs: George of Trebizond... his Alfonsine natal chart...!

Hi everyone,

A correspondent of mine called Owen Gingerich has used his software for 
simulating Alfonsine natal charts to calculate what he believes would be 
George of Trebizond's natal chart, according to what he would have believed 
(rather than what might have been observed had one looked).

The Alfonsine values Owen gives are in the rightmost column of numbers 
below - he was quite surprised by the difference in the position of the 
moon between the two methods:-

I think this may point to the nymphs on the *exterior* of the rings 
actually being the first degrees, and then subsequent degrees starting from 
the inside (as normal)... but it's still early days.

I'm now especially intrigued to have a look at Monfasani's books on 
Trebizond - I actually think we've got our man (for the zodiac section, at 
least), but it'll take a while to prove it to everyone's satisfaction... :-o
