VMs: Archive Files-- Sudden Understanding

I think I've figured out what happened. For the March
files, the format is 1998.03.Mar  and Windows interpreted
that as a "Microsoft Acess Report" file, and made all of
that year's files into that format.  The other years used
.txt as the filename extension, so there was no confusion.

Guess I'll have to do some experimenting...
