 Subject: VMs: Some Fundamental Questions

 1. How does one pronounce "Voynich"? I was saying "Voynickh",
and recently started using "Voyniche", but there are a couple of
 other possibilities.

 2. The list archives for 1998, 99, and 2001 are inaccessable to me.
They are Microsoft Access files, but that program won't open them.
I can change the filename extention to "txt" and WordPad will open
them, but the formatting is gone, making them unreadable.

 3. Was a formal title for this study group ever decided upon?

 Thanks!

 Robert

-=se=-> 'voy' as like Boy (with a B) and nich (sounding like "swITCH?"
                    'VOY' - "Nitch" = Voynich!

best to all

steve (per live ES-proper) ekwall

ps I even ASKED about the proper "spelling" it is indeed "Voynich"
