VMs: Recent Historical Precedents

	Hi, all!  I've been ill quite a while recently and 
haven't been able to keep up with the list.  I'd like
to 
update the Historical Precedents document.  Would
everyone 
briefly describe the more definite precedents they've
found?  
I try to only include things that are pretty definite.
