This pattern is reused again on Folio's f85/86 with the large foldout
containing the 3*3 rosettes.

The re-use of patterns in different contexts (plant - "asteroid" , see link
above) points to two hypotheses:
1) a hoax - "I keep on repeating myself because I have to fill all those
bloody pages ..."
2) a copyist - "I'll just prettify this rough scatch by filling it with a
pattern I like ..."
