Such alchemical trees appear in a number of alchemical
diagrams. There are, for example, a number found in pseudo-Lull
alchemical manuscripts. They usually show the relationship
between various alchemical processes and substances.
This diagram may illustrate ideas presented in the earlier
part of the manuscript.
